Teddy's Story

Meet Teddy! He's a cocker spaniel mix, approx. 4-5 yrs old. Sadly, he came to our rescue when his pet parent passed away so we set out to find him a place to call home. He was recently neutered and microchipped, is current on shots and heartworm tested, so he's up to date on all his vetting.

Teddy is a smart boy, he's house trained, kennels up well, and will sit for a treat! :) He does well around other dogs, enjoys playing and hanging out with them, not sure about cats. Teddy enjoys playing with his toys, cuddling on the couch, belly rubs, and going for car rides and walks.

He really has a lot of wonderful attributes about his personality; however, he does have an aggressive side. He does have a biting history, not sure what this little guy has been thru, but he's got a few triggers. He's not fond of men, so we're hoping we can find him a home with a female pet parent...just feel it'd be a better match. He can be protective, so a home with no children is a must. He loves to stroll around the yard, so hoping we can find a home with a fenced in yard, but it's not required.

Teddy has so much love to give if given the chance. We just wanted to be honest about his temperament in hopes we can find him a good match. He has potential, just needs the right home.

If interested in meeting and adopting Teddy, please visit our website to fill out an adoption application, that will get the ball rolling! Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We look forward to hearing from you!

Dog Gone Rescue's Adoption Policy
Thank you for choosing to adopt from Dog Gone Rescue! We are a foster based rescue, hoping to have a building in near future, but until then, we have wonderful foster families that help us care for the furkids until their adopted. In order to meet and hopefully adopt one of our animals, you'll need to visit our website at, www.doggonerescue.com, to fill out Adoption Application. Once we've processed your application, if your family is determined to be a good match, we'll move forward on setting up a meet-n-greet. If all goes well at the meeting, we'll finalize the adoption at that time and you can take your new furry family member home with you! All of our animals up for adoption are: Spayed/Neutered (unless too young), heart worm tested (FIV/Leuk tested for cats), microchipped, flea treated and of course current on all vaccinations. We strive to make sure we adopt out healthy furkids! Our Adoption Fees are: Dog/Puppies - $200 Cats/Kittens - $75/$50 We require all Adopters that have current pets to have them current on shots and fixed, thanks!
