Teddy's Story

. Have you ever wanted to be able to sport a bumper sticker that says "My dog is smarter than your Honor Roll student" and have it be the truth? Wellp - here's your chance!<br/><br/> Teddy is a big brained boy, who has come from a difficult past of harm from humans. He's risen above it, soaked up his education, and come out on top like the champion he is. <br/><br/> He spent over a year with our friends at Rocket Dog Academy learning everything there is to learn to become a functioning member of society & now he's learning how to "just be a dog" in a foster home setting. <br/><br/>So far, things he's learned in a home setting:<br/> the TV and its sounds are little unnerving<br/> the cat is "whatever"<br/> the 7lb - 75lb other dogs are sometimes fun to interact with, but also mostly "whatever"<br/> the chickens, ducks and geese on the property are funny looking and stinky<br/> the woodstove is HOT<br/> the couch in comfy<br/> not all humans are as terrible as he once thought<br/><br/> Teddy hasn't spent time around children, and because of his painful history and the unpredictability of kids - we are recommending a kid-free home at this time. <br/><br/> Teddy has scars from what looks like chemical burns all over his body, and his ears appear to have been burned and cut by human hands.<br/><br/>Despite all this, he reciprocates the love and hard work he receives. He thrives on routine, clear expectations, and a no-BS approach to life. <br/><br/>Teddy would excel at any hobby or sport you might be interested in doing with him - he's got an eagerness to learn, a real strong sniffer, and smarts to figure out any dilemma.<br/><br/>Knowledge he already possesses:<br/> how to rock a muzzle<br/> fully eCollar trained to cues including (but not limited to): sit, stay, place, here, leave it, wait, free<br/> easily plays "yours, mine" even with dinner and high value treats<br/> how to live without separation anxiety<br/> crate trained & housebroken<br/> how to settle when handler prompts at times of overwhelm<br/><br/>(Waaaaaaay better than your honor roll kid )<br/><br/>Also, fully vaccinated, chipped and neutered. <br/><br/>If Teddy sounds like your kind of guy, please reach out to learn more about him!

. Have you ever wanted to be able to sport a bumper sticker that says "My dog is smarter than your Honor Roll student" and have it be the truth? Wellp - here's your chance!

Teddy is a big brained boy, who has come from a difficult past of harm from humans. He's risen above it, soaked up his education, and come out on top like the champion he is.

He spent over a year with our friends at Rocket Dog Academy learning everything there is to learn to become a functioning member of society & now he's learning how to "just be a dog" in a foster home setting.

So far, things he's learned in a home setting:
the TV and its sounds are little unnerving
the cat is "whatever"
the 7lb - 75lb other dogs are sometimes fun to interact with, but also mostly "whatever"
the chickens, ducks and geese on the property are funny looking and stinky
the woodstove is HOT
the couch in comfy
not all humans are as terrible as he once thought

Teddy hasn't spent time around children

Teddy hasn't spent time around children, and because of his painful history and the unpredictability of kids - we are recommending a kid-free home at this time.

Teddy has scars from what looks like chemical burns all over his body, and his ears appear to have been burned and cut by human hands.

Despite all this, he reciprocates the love and hard work he receives. He thrives on routine, clear expectations, and a no-B
