Teddy Chocolate Labrador Retriever Kentwood, MI

Meet Teddy- Teddy is a 2 year old chocolate lab that survived distemper. Unfortunately he does have seizures but they are very controlled with medication that he needs every 8 hours.

Here’s what we know about Teddy:

- His seizures seem to be well under control with the correct medication levels
- His energy level and endurance are increasing as he gains more weight
- He is very food motivated so should be easy to train. Learned to ‘sit’ in one session
- He enjoys going for walks and does very nicely on a loose leash. Doesn’t pull or lunge when we meet other people or dogs on the bike path
- Does fine with other dogs. He pretty much ignores them. We think he would like to play but has no idea what to do
- He will get into the garbage if he thinks there’s something to eat in there
- Loves to chase a ball! He doesn’t fetch and return, just runs around with it :)
- Enjoys going for car rides.
- He is housebroken. Will pace back and forth when he needs to go out.

Teddy is up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, fecal checked and dewormed. Heartworm negative, on flea and Heartworm prevention.
