Thank you!** <br/><br/>Meet Tebow Tango - a 7 month old, Golden Retriever / Great Pyrenees / Bulldog mix, who weighs 50 pounds (as of 6/23/25). Tebow and the other Tango pups were found as strays, and we rescued them from a very busy road. We included a picture of their beautiful momma so you have an idea of what they could look like once they are fully grown!<br/><br/>UPDATE on Tebow Tango: He's still shy but has come a long way. He would really benefit from a more intimate setting with more personal attention and training. He is house trained and has been getting along fine with the two older Aussie Shepherds in the home. Interestingly Tebow had been more sociable than Trudy with new people until a tornado struck just a half block away from their foster home. Since then he has been more shy and Trudy is more friendly. He is fine with the people in the home who he knows. Tebow would do best in a home without cats or very small dogs.<br/><br/>His foster shares: "Tebow Tango is a shy fella who is learning to trust people! He is very friendly, sweet, and loves to be loved on. Tebow and his siblings love to play with our (2) nine year old children and is so sweet with them. Tebow is learning about house manners, walking on a leash, and going potty outside. He does great in a crate at night. Tebow Tango is now learning about good doggy manners from our two resident Aussie Shepherds. Tebow is a sweet boy who is looking for a patient loving family who can help build his confidence and show him what it means to be loved!" <br/><br/>All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
