Teak's Story

This is a courtesy posting for Teak's owner. He is not currently a foster with Wasatch Canine Camp.

This adorable fellow is Teak. He is a 2 year old Border Collie mix. His owner fell on hard times and because of this Teak has been boarding with us for almost 3 months. His family is desperate to find him a forever home so that he no longer needs to be in a facility environment. Teak is a very sweet boy and he loves to get attention from all of our staff. As he is is still intact he can be a little rude with the other dogs, but the longer he stays with us the better he does when it comes to this behavior. He does at times struggle with being aggressive towards other intact males, but has been find with fixed males and female dogs. Tea has never been around kids but his owner thinks he would do best in a home without small children as he will likely topple them over jumping up. We are unsure how he is with cats our guess is he would chase them. Teak has a lot of potential in a home where he is given the training that he needs. He is a pretty chill dude but will still need walks and exercise to keep himself happy. If you would like to meet Teak please text us at 801-735-1978.
