Taz's Story

Taz is a 10 years old, Pitbull, Rottweiler mix. He is not friendly with other pets and has no experience with children, so zero children. He is super affectionate, obedient, intelligent and sensitive. He loves routine, it actually suits him because of his age. He is house broken, a huge lover, cuddler and dancer and he loves to watch TV. I can't have him because of the fact that there are so many dogs here and the fact that he's in a tiny apartment, which where I live and the building does not allow for more than one dog for the unit size that I have. I have two dogs, although getting him to love my girl dog was a lengthy and stressful process, they are now inseparable, so it is possible for him. The fact that he is not friendly with other dogs is a constant risk every single time I walk him. He is NOT aggressive, he was simply never socialized as a puppy (he was initially my X fiancs dog). When he sees other dogs he cries and sometimes barks. He's gotten soooooo much better with the barking, as I have been consistently working on training and conditioning him as best as I can. He is always wagging his tail when he sees the other dogs, I think he just doesn't know how to act because of the fact that he was not socialized. He's just such a sweet and such a good boy!

Adoption fee is $100 and includes DHPP & rabies vaccinations heartworm testing spayed/neutered, deworming and microchip. All animals are examined by a veterinarian. Please fill out our application at https://loveforcats.org/adopt if you are interested in meeting or adopting Taz and we will be in touch right away!

For more information please contact Lisy the owner of Taz at (786) 359-5880.
