Taz is a vibrant and lovable mixed breed dog, approximately 3 to 4 years old and weighing 35 pounds. Despite a challenging past, he has maintained his joyful spirit and is now ready to find a caring forever home. We do not believe that he hypoallergenic as he is a mixed breed dog.
Taz spent his early years chained up to a dog house in the backyard of an elderly lady's home. While she provided him with food, he sadly never experienced the freedom and love he truly deserved. But now, with your help, we can give him the life he's always longed for.
Although Taz's previous circumstances limited his opportunities, he has already shown incredible progress in a short time. Currently, he is working closely with our dedicated trainer and is learning the foundations of basic obedience. Taz is a highly intelligent dog who thrives on mental stimulation and loves to learn. He's already making great strides in walking on a leash and has mastered simple commands like sit.
Taz possesses a friendly and happy nature that is contagious. He adores people of all ages and is eager to form new bonds and connections. As he continues to decompress from his previous experiences, we are excited to witness his growth and see his true personality shine.
While Taz gets along well with humans, he can be selective when it comes to other dogs. Therefore, we believe he would thrive best as the only dog in his new home. This will allow him to receive the undivided attention, love, and guidance he deserves. He will chase our office cat so we believe he will be best in a home without a cat.
