Taz's Story
Taz was able to spend a few days in a foster home. He did great! He was friendly with every person he met and got along well with the resident dogs. Taz slept through the night in his crate and didn't have any accidents in the house. We learned Taz doesn't even try to get up on the couches. He LOVES snooping around in the woods and when he is tuckered out he sleeps so soundly its adorable!

Shelter life has been tough on Taz, especially the long stretches alone in his kennel, but the moment he’s out with staff or volunteers, he lights up. Time outside — playing with his buddies or snooping along the trails — is when Taz feels like his real, joyful self.

This handsome guy has good manners, too. He knows how to sit and lay down (okay… most of the time), takes treats like a perfect gentleman, and absolutely melts when someone gives him attention. If “getting loved up” were a sport, Taz would be a gold‑medal champion.

Taz would thrive in a home where someone is around on a regular schedule — he loves companionship and routine. And his dream setup? A home with another playful dog his size who’s ready to be his best buddy.

If you’re looking for a sweet, social, affectionate pup who’s equal parts adventure partner and cuddle connoisseur, Taz is ready to trot right into your life.

Taz weighs 50‑pound and is a 2‑year‑old good‑boy!
