Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift (taytay) is a 2 year old 7 pound ball of sweetness. She loves being by her foster mom's side at all times. She is working on potty training and knows how to use the pee pad indoors and typically waits for you to take her out with minimal accidents at her foster's home. If left for long periods of time, it's best for her to be in an enclosed area to avoid accidents. Taylor's typical day consists of cuddling, sleeping, or short walks to the beach. At her most recent vet check up, it was found she has a broken tail that is healed and level 1 luxating patella that does not seem to bother her. She sometimes licks her paws when she gets overly nervous. She is friendly to other people on her walks and will run up to them asking for pets/licks. She can be wary of new dogs at first, and she may begin to growl to let the other dog know she wants some distance. As she warms up, she is indifferent to other dogs. She does well with dog-experienced, calm children and asks for more petting/gives kisses to kids she meets. Taylor will cry if she's in a crate or unable to be by her foster's side whether that's in bed or on the couch (she has stairs for the couch for independence to roam). Taylor is looking for a home where she can get plenty of attention and snuggles!
