Taylor's Story

On a sunny day, you might find Taylor lying on her back in the grass, paws to the sky and a look of bliss on her face as a human friend indulges her with belly rubs. She is the embodiment of love and affection. Taylor is a social butterfly with a penchant of making human friends—ask any of our staff!

Meeting her, it may surprise you to learn how hard her life has already been. Emaciated, dehydrated and at full term with a pregnancy, she was in rough shape. Taylor had had some trauma to her left eye and her right ear had been ripped. After a challenging labor, her puppies were born. Sadly, after fighting distemper, only one of the puppies survived. She was quarantined for several weeks, and when she was cleared, her left eye needed to be enucleated.

Despite the challenges of her past, the love she has to give is boundless. Taylor is very human friendly, enjoys walks, loves toys and balls. She is adaptable and ready to bring her positive energy to any loving home.

***The first step in our adoption process is to complete the application on our website at Pawsofcoronado.org***Do Not apply through Petfinder***

About Me:
Estimated DOB 11/09/2020, 3 year old
Mixed Breed, 45 lbs, fully grown.
Spayed, Microchipped, vaccinated, up to date on flea/heartworm preventatives
Adoption fee: $150
