Tatiana was born deaf and blind - a result of irresponsible breeders trying to breed the perfect. profitable dog and risking creating a blind and deaf dog in the process. She has adapted well to her limitations, though she needs a home that understands that establishing a routine is priority and has lots of patience and love. The world can be a scary place without hearing or vision, so she needs a person to bond with that will make her safety a priority. She loves sitting in laps, being held and cuddled. She is ok with some dogs but not ok with other dogs - as you can imagine, not being able to see dog body language means she can't understand other dogs intentions towards her. She has a strong sense of smell and it will guide her stubbornly along on a walk. <br/><br/>Tyson's Place Animal Rescue's mission is to assist terminally ill people with finding new families for their pets. Tatiana's owner went into a nursing home and she was surrendered to an animal shelter. We stepped in and took her into our rescue, where she will be able to live in a foster home until she is adopted.
