Meet Tater Tot!<br/>Tater Tot is a 1–2-year-old chihuahua mix with the tiniest frame and the biggest heart. She came to us after being abandoned along with a group of other dogs in a rural part of Lake County. Thankfully, we were able to welcome her into our care with the help of some wonderful rescue partners.<br/>Tater Tot is still learning what it means to be a beloved pet. She’s incredibly sweet but understandably shy as she adjusts to this new, safer life. She’ll need a calm, patient home—adults or gentle teens—where she can settle in at her own pace.<br/>She would love to have a confident dog friend to show her the ropes and help her feel more secure. And with time and proper introductions, we think she could befriend a cat, too.<br/>If you have a soft spot for the shy ones and the heart to help a little dog blossom, Tater Tot is waiting to meet you.
