And yes, I’m just as lovable. ????

I’m what the humans here call a very good boy on leash. Walks with me are easy, and I already know how to sit… especially if snacks are involved. Once I get comfortable with you, I become what they describe as “very treat motivated.” Personally, I think that just means I’m highly committed to snack-based learning.

I’ll admit I can be a little shy when I first meet new people. I just need a minute to make sure you’re not suspicious. But once I realize you’re one of my people, I turn into a total lovebug. I melt right into you and want to stay close — like really close. Personal space? Never heard of it.

Toys? Meh.
People? Absolutely amazing.

When I see someone I know, I get so excited you’d think they were gone for 47 years instead of 47 minutes.

Now for my medical update (don’t worry, I’m still a happy guy). The vet took x-rays and said it appears I may have arthritis. The truth is, there’s a lot medically unknown about me since nobody knows what my life was like before I got here. They gave me some pain medication that helps me feel much better, but I’m still a little off balance on one side sometimes. I like to think it just adds a little extra character to my already charming personality.

Because of that, I’m hoping to find a special, patient home that understands I may need a little extra care and kindness. I’m also open to a nice rescue that can help me continue figuring out what I need medically while giving me a comfy place to be loved.

What you get in return is:
• One extremely sweet potato
• Professional cuddle expert
• Loyal best friend
• A boy who just wants to stay close to his people

Sponsor his $130 neuter or help cover his x-ray cost here: https://client.pointandpay.net/web/WayneCoDogShelterOH/

Adoption questionnaire & information: https://www.waynedogshelter.org/adoption-questionnaire
