Hi Friends - My Name is Tater! Sometimes my shelter friends will call me, Tater-Potato, or Tater Tot. They say I'm the cutest potato ever - but if you've seen a real potato before - it's pretty obvious why I won that competition. <br/><br/>Here's a little bit about me - I'm a medium mixed breed dude, weighing in at just under 50lbs, and I'm about 1 year old. I've been neutered, vaccinated, and I'm up to date on my heartworm testing. <br/><br/>The story of how I ended up at the shelter, will probably bring a tear to your eye. I was brought into the shelter as a stray - little did the shelter staff know - the people who turned me in were actually my owners. The nice people at the shelter took me in, and have given me nothing but love since my arrival. What was a confusing and heartbreaking time for me, was made much better thanks to my new friends. <br/><br/>The staff at the shelter says I have been a wonderful guest! I'm sweet as can be, I'm an energetic guy with a big personality. I listen very well, and I'm very smart! I love treats! I love everyone I meet, even little humans! I also do well living with other dogs. I could probably do well living with a cat if given time to properly adjust. <br/><br/>With the past behind me, and a bright future ahead, I'm ready for a new home and a new family that will never put me through anything like that again.
