Meet Tanzanite! Tanzanite is a Heeler mix that was born in November of 2023. He spent much of the first 2 months of his life hiding behind hay bales. As a result, he is shy and needs a little time to get comfortable in new situation. He wasn't sure what to think of us when he first arrived at the shelter but now he loves us completely. Adopters should start to socialize him right away so that he gets used to new things and becomes a well adjusted pup. Apply today!

The adoption fee is $400.00. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
