Applications for Tanner are found on our website www.nadrs.org <br/><br/>This little guy was picked up as a stray in California and brought to one of the overwhelmed shelters in that County. No one came to claim him sadly. We brought him here into NADRS care on Vancouver Island - he is in foster care in Lake Cowichan. He is the sweetest, cutest guy! He always has a tail wagging for you and loves everyone! We have no idea how a sweet little senior dog becomes an unclaimed stray, but we will find him the right home so that his remaining years are safe, secure and loving. Tanner loves attention, is very easy to pick up and is very tolerant of touch. After all he has been through, there is not a grumble or bark out of this sweetheart. He is very quiet, calm and loves to snooze in his round little bed. He will follow you around and wants to be where you are. The shelter aged him at 12 yrs old mainly due to his eyes, which are a bit cloudy up close and we have him scheduled for a dental because he does have dental disease. He is super soft and he really looks and behaves a lot younger than his estimated age. He could be anywhere from 9 to 12 yrs old. His heart is good - no murmurs.
