Meet TANNER

Sweet, sweet Tanner! He is such a good boy, and he has such a sad story. He and his human mom lived happily together for many years. However, she recently passed away, and Tanner had no place to go. A member of the family called PAWS and asked us to take him. At first he didn't understand why his mom left him, and he kept waiting for her to come back. However, we have explained to him what happened, and he says that although he misses her very, very much and will always love her, he is ready to move on now with a new family. He also says he has plenty of love still left to give to his new family, and he will be forever grateful if someone will just give him a chance and take him home. He is a nine year old purebred Chesapeake Bay Retriever, and he has a calm, gentle, kind, loving disposition. He likes people; he gets along well with other dogs; he's a beautiful boy, and to top it all off---he's housebroken! If you are a big dog kind of person and would like to have a mature, settled in type of guy, come meet Tanner. Chances are that he is the one for you!
