Tanner's Story
Tanner is the smallest of his siblings who were rescued from being abandoned at a house after their owner moved and left this family of four behind. He amazes us because his name doesn't fit his appearance but fits his little being so well. He responds so well to it and he seems to like his new name very much. Tanner is not only the smallest in his family but also the shy one. However he is blossoming! And although it takes him a minute to feel comfortable once he does his happy little self shines through. Tanner has been with his mother and brother since rescue and he depends on them for his support. He definitely sits back and follows rather than stepping forward to take the lead. Because of this we would like to see Tanner to go to a home with a companion dog who has a complimentary personality Tanners. Tanner is slightly under two years of age and has never really had a home to call his own. He has so much to learn yet and we know he will grow in leaps and bounds once he finally finds his person to show him the way. Currently we are working on walking on a leash, not getting so excited and house training ! <br/>If you are interested in Tanner please fill out an application or email haltrescue@gmail.com for more information
