Tank Top's Story

Hey there friends, my name is Tank Top! I'm a 3 year old, 65lbs., neutered male Bulldog/Staffordshire Terrier mix. I'm an outgoing, confident fellow that is energy personified. I adore hanging out with my favorite human friends and literally jump for joy when I see them! My favorite game in the world is fetch and I can play it all day long. Since I'm so excitable and strong, I prefer households with children that are 10 or older. I would love to meet the whole family including any resident dogs before going home as I can be a bit rough and tumble when I play. I may be on the bigger side but if you let me, I'll climb right into your lap for some cuddles. Tank Top ID#A973019
I recently went on a fieldtrip with a PHS Volunteer! Here's how I did:
I took Tanky out for a hike. He’s such a sweetheart. He was very excited to head out, I could tell from his face that he knew we were going out for an adventure. That sweet smile! He is a total lap dog, and would not prefer it any other way. He sat in my lap as I drove (safely). He’s quite affectionate, and always wants to be close to you. At the hike, he was super happy trotting with me as he sniffed along the way. He wasn't bothered by the other hikers or bikers around him. He seemed interested in wanting to say hi to dogs, but is also not fixated. Tanky is always great on leash. He was very sweet and gentle. Turns out, the boy likes water! He enjoyed dipping his feet by the beach. In the end, he and I sat looking at the sunset while he enjoyed the atmosphere. He’s the perfect mix of laid back and adventurous.Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.
You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by.
