TANK's Story
Hi, I'm Tank.

I'm about 5 months old and an Australian Cattle Dog mix. Right now I weigh around 20 pounds, but I'm still pretty underweight. When I first came to the shelter with my sibling, we were both very skinny. Food hadn't always been something we could count on.

I'm learning now that meals come every day. That I don't have to scarf it down. That I don't have to fight for it. That it's not going to disappear. I did show some food guarding with my sister in the beginning, but that came from being unsure and feeling like I had to compete to survive. I'm very young and adaptable, so with time, consistency, and proper guidance, I'll learn that food is no longer a limited resource.

Other than that, I'm exactly what you'd expect from a young puppy. I'll need structure, boundaries, and consistency with potty training, crate training, and basic manners. I'm still figuring out how the world works. But I have so much potential.

Right now I'm doing well with other dogs, cats, and children. Because I'm still so young, positive socialization and clear leadership will be really important to make sure I grow into a confident, balanced adult dog. What I learn now will shape who I become.

I'm smart, observant, and eager to bond. With the right guidance, I'm going to be an incredible dog. I just need someone willing to put in the time to show me that I'm safe, loved, and never going to go hungry again.

If you're ready for a puppy with a big future and an even bigger heart, I'm ready to grow up with you.

Neutered, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention.

Adoption fee is $140

If you are interested in meeting and adopting, please submit an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog

Once submitted our staff will review and then contact you to set up a meet and greet!
