Tank's Story
Meet Tank

Tank is a beautiful boy with a gentle heart who is still trying to understand how his life changed so suddenly.

After spending 7 years with the family he knew and loved, Tank was surrendered to the shelter because of family medical issues. Through no fault of his own, the only home he had known was suddenly gone. It's no wonder this sweet boy was nervous when he first arrived.

Tank can be cautious when meeting new people, and he likes to take things at his own pace. He enjoys exploring the yard and discovering his surroundings, and while he hasn't shown much interest in toys or treats yet, he definitely appreciates attention... when he decides he's ready for it.

One thing Tank has made very clear is that he enjoys having dog friends! He is dog-friendly and has really enjoyed spending time in our play yard groups.

Cats are currently unknown. Tank keeps his kennel clean and may be house-trained, although we always recommend giving him time to adjust to a new home and routine.

Tank doesn't need anything fancy. He needs someone willing to be patient while he learns that being surrendered wasn't the end of his story.

He's neutered, vaccinated, and waiting for someone to say, "You're home now, Tank."

After 7 years of belonging to someone, we'd love nothing more than to see him spend the next chapter of his life being loved just as much as he deserves.
