Tank's Story

*** AVAILABLE ON-SITE ONLY FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS ***
Meet Tank! While he may have a "tough guy" name, this little guy is actually a petite puppy with a heart of gold. Tank is a smart, confident, and sweet-natured soul who is officially ready to find his forever family!

Tank is a tiny adventurer who has already mastered the doggy door all by himself. He is incredibly smart and highly "snack-motivated," which has made his house-training journey a breeze-as long as you keep the treats handy and keep an eye on his "I need to go!" cues, he's a total pro. While he is still learning to love his leash, he is at his happiest when he's exploring the great outdoors or making new friends. Whether it's a new human or a fellow dog, Tank is always eager to say hello with a wagging tail.

This resilient boy arrived at Saving Grace with a badly wounded back ankle, but he hasn't let that slow him down! It has healed beautifully, and you'll only notice a slight reminder of his injury if he's had an extra-long session of "zoomies." Like any typical puppy, he is currently in his "land shark" phase-happily nipping at hands and pant legs-so he'll need a family who can patiently guide him through his teething.

Tank is a dream in his crate and sleeps quietly through the night. He isn't much of a barker unless he's reminding you that it's dinner time! After a day of play, his favorite thing in the world is to climb into a warm lap, snuggle deep under a blanket, and gaze up at you with his sweet, angelic face.

Saving Grace Animals for Adoption's Adoption Policy
All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $395.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Request Form can be completed online at our website at https://savinggracenc.org/adopt/. An Adoption Request Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at https://savinggracenc.org/give/donate-now/. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
