Tank's Story
Tank came to us from a Central Valley shelter where he had ended up after his owner passed away. Tank came in with a sister doggy sibling who was adopted by a family friend and sadly Tank was left behind on his own at the shelter. We couldn’t let that be his fate, so we found space and brought him up to Lily’s.

At 11 years young, Tank does not let his hip dysplasia and arthritis get in the way of his exploration. With the curiosity and enthusiasm of a youthful pup, Tank has proven that age is just a number! So far, Tank has gotten along with doggies and humans alike at the sanctuary, excitedly approaching new furry friends and asking for belly rubs from those with opposable thumbs! We can’t wait to continue to get to know this distinguished gentleman and we will share more as we do.
