Tank's Story

Meet Tank!

Tank is a 2-month-old male Black Lab/Retriever mix with a big heart packed into a tiny body, he currently weighs just 5 pounds! Tank was rescued along with his siblings after living outside, and he’s now soaking up all the comfort, care, and love that every puppy deserves.

Like any growing pup, Tank’s favorite things include eating, playing, sleeping, and repeating that cycle as often as possible. He’s curious, silly, and full of classic puppy energy, whether that’s exploring his surroundings, tumbling around with toys, or curling up for a well-earned nap.

Tank is still very young and learning all about the world, so his future family should be ready for puppy basics like training, socialization, and lots of patience, but also lots of laughs and cuddles. With love and guidance, Tank is sure to grow into a loyal, loving companion.

If you’re looking to add a sweet, playful puppy to your life and are ready for all the joys (and chaos!) that come with it, Tank might just be your guy. 💙

MORE INFO:
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, or scheduled to be if they arrived in our care too young. Each dog has been seen by our veterinarian and treated for likely the following (all various): Age appropriate vaccines, overall health exam and other alignments as they come up. All dogs are dewormed, given core vaccines (Bordetella, DHPP (3 of them if a puppy) and Rabies as well as all are microchipped and on a monthly preventative for flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

All of our animals are placed into foster homes so they thrive and the transition is easier.

If interested in learning more or meeting this pup, please fill out our adoption application.
The application can be found here:
https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/JHRA/Dog
