Tango's Story

Meet Tango
At 3 years old and 55 pounds of pure love and energy, Tango is the perfect mix of goofy playfulness and big-hearted loyalty.

Tango came to the shelter as a stray - and he waited and waited, but no one ever came. When he first arrived, he didn't even know how to "sit." It was clear he had never truly known what it meant to be loved or live inside a home. But those days are behind him now, and Tango is making the most of his second chance at life - with a full belly, a cozy bed, and people who adore him.

Now, Tango is enrolled in our Hamilton Hounds Prison Program, where he's learning basic obedience, leash manners, and even a few fun tricks! His favorite skill? A focused heel - he looks so proud showing it off.

Tango is a dog who lives life all-in. He loves to run, play, and explore, but he also has a sweet, cuddly side that melts your heart. Once he bonds with his person, his devotion runs deep - he gives his whole heart and soul.

Crate trained & house trained
Great with dogs
Good with kids (older kids preferred due to his energy)
High energy & eager to learn
Not destructive and not a barker

Tango would thrive in an active home with a yard and another playful dog, or with a family who enjoys outdoor adventures and daily walks.

Tango's the kind of dog who will fill your life with joy, laughter, and unconditional love. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will make every day brighter, Tango is ready to dance his way into your heart.
