Meet Tammy

Hi everyone! My name is Tammy, and my siblings and I need to find our forever homes. We are a mixed breed and just turned 8 weeks old. Our mom was saved by a foster, only for them to find out we were on the way - surprise! We are healthy, happy, and ready to go! Since we are so young, we can learn to love kids and cats. If you are interested in us - please reach out! We would love to find our new families??
~ Little Tammy

Tammy (think country music!) is a completely full-on puppy right now, wrestling and plentiful in energy. Mama is around 40lbs and we think this girl will be that size or a little bigger. She looks to have some terrier in her, so you can expect a dog that will be able to keep up with your active lifestyle, but then snuggle down with you during down times. At this age she's trainable with cats.

A puppy is only a small part of this pup’s life, allow us to imagine a little about how she might be as an adult:

It’s a Saturday morning. Tammy is your morning coffee companion. Whatever your routine is, she knows it, and is there, wagging her tail when you’re around, from sunup to sundown. She knows that after coffee comes fetch or tug, but really, her joy comes from spending time with her favorite people - you. From puppyhood, you’ve had her used to car rides, so when you grab your keys to meet up with a friend, she’s by your side. You hold open the door, she hops on the backseat. Sure, she barks at motorcycles, but that’s ok. You run, she runs with you. You stop, she’s there too. She’s your dependable girl. When you cook dinner at night, she has her bed in the corner of the kitchen. She knows how to beg with just her ear curl and her eyes, and that often results in a tiny bit of whatever you’re cooking. Bedtime routine is also known, though you always carve out plenty of time for belly rubs. Sure, sometimes she clearly chases squirrels in her sleep, but it’s the little things like that which bring you so much joy.

The life we hope for and imagine for Tammy and her siblings. She’s a squishy, rolly puppy now, but we can just see she will bring so much love to the people who become hers.
