She’s great with kids (has lived with children ages 8 and 11) and gets along well with cats and other dogs — currently sharing her home peacefully with a 7-year-old Rottie/Shepherd mix and two adult cats.<br/><br/>She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and kennel-trained, though she rarely needs the crate. At night, she sleeps soundly indoors on her own dog bed. Talok enjoys a large yard to play in and goes on daily walks both in town and along forest trails. She’s polite and confident on leash, and was excellent at the vet (references available).<br/><br/>About her story:<br/>Talok came into care after her original breeder failed to pick her up from a foster arrangement. Her current caregiver stepped in to give her a safe place to grow and thrive but is now looking for an experienced home due to health limitations. Talok was spayed in May and has veterinary records available. She was born in Vancouver and is one of nine pups from her litter.<br/><br/>Talok is a smart, loyal, and loving young dog who would thrive with an active family familiar with shepherd breeds or committed to continuing her training and giving her the structure she loves.
