Good with dogs Interested in cats but does not chase About Tallulah: Tallulah was found all alone in a busy part of town, searching through garbage just to survive. Life clearly hadn’t been easy for this little girl, but despite it all, she has the sweetest, gentlest nature. Since coming to the sanctuary, Tallulah has shown us what a lovely companion she is. She walks beautifully on a lead, gets along well with other dogs, and has a low–to–medium energy level that makes her easy to live with. Tallulah is about 2 years old and around 20 pounds — a perfect small/medium-sized companion. She would be happy in a home with other pets or as the only dog, soaking up all the love for herself. She has shown some curiosity about cats, but not enough to chase them, suggesting she could potentially live peacefully in a home with feline friends. After fending for herself on the streets, Tallulah deserves a safe home and a family who will never let her feel alone again. Give this sweet pup a chance at a beautiful life and finding their forever family in Canada. They deserve so much more- can you be the one to help them in their time of need? Canine Haven Rescue's Adoption Policy

To adopt one of our dogs, please fill out an application. Although we do our best to reply to all inquiries within 48 hours, please remember we are a 100% volunteer based organization, and many of us have full time jobs outside of rescue. We appreciate your patience. Our priority is to ensure the fit is right for both you and the dog, we will reach out to your personal and veterinarian references (if applicable), and your landlord (if applicable). A virtual video or pictures of your place are required at the time of application. You will then be granted a private meet and greet with the dog. If after the meet and greet, you would like to proceed with adoption, we will review your application internally and with the foster and make a final decision.
