Talia's Story

Talia is everything you're looking for in a puppy: confident, playful, affectionate, social, and the softest thing you've ever felt! When she's happy she does little hops and her ears flop up and down and it's too freaking adorable. Talia is smart and very food motivated and will be a breeze to train. She likes all the other dogs she's met and is curious about the cats. She's great at pottying on the potty pads while her foster mom says it's too cold to go outside. She strongly disagrees with her foster mom about avoiding the negative temps though; she says that the snow is the BEST THING EVER and the cold can kiss her frosty booty. The first time she saw the snow, she sprinted headfirst into a huge snowdrift and her foster mom had to dig her out. She'll be an amazing companion for someone into winter sports, or any Minnesotan who needs motivation to get outside in this chilly weather.

Talia is estimated to be 3 months old and 12 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.

If you are interested in meeting this dog please complete the adoption application on our website at https://safehandsrescue.org/adoption-process/ and then we can contact you about setting up a meeting.

We are also holding the following upcoming adoption events!

Please note: All dogs/puppies will not be at every event, and some may find their home prior to the event.
