Tahoe's Story

Meet Tahoe - The Trail-Loving Brainiac! <br/><br/>Ready to hit the trails and ace the training game? Meet Tahoe - a handsome, high-energy adventurer with brains to match his brawn! This smart cookie LOVES puzzles, thrives on enrichment, and is always up for a challenge. He's the kind of dog who'll solve a food toy in record time and then look at you like, "Okay, what's next?"<br/><br/>Tahoe walks well on leash but can be strong when he's excited - he just can't help himself when adventure is calling! Luckily, he's incredibly trainable and eager to learn, especially when treats and praise are involved.<br/><br/>This clever boy is also housetrained and takes pride in keeping things tidy. He's currently learning how to make friends with other dogs - taking things slow and steady - and showing great progress with patience and positive introductions.<br/><br/>If you're an active, outdoorsy person looking for a loyal hiking buddy who will keep you on your toes (and make you laugh every day), Tahoe's your guy. He's ready to explore the world by your side - one trail, puzzle, and belly rub at a time. <br/><br/>Tahoe is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of his vaccinations. You can meet him at the CASPCA between the hours of 12 and 6 PM daily, no appointment necessary.<br/><br/>If you have any additional questions, please email adoptions@caspca.org.

Adoptions are by appointment only. Please submit an application to get a link for scheduling. Step 2: * If the animal you are interested in is in a foster home, we will connect you with the foster via email to set up a virtual appointment or coordinate a time to meet at the shelter. Our Adoption Counselors will finalize the paperwork and process payment. All dogs must leave with a collar and a leash, and all cats must leave in a carrier. * If you have spoken with an animal’s foster family and wish to adopt, please reply to the email from our Adoption Counselors, who will process the adoption paperwork and payment electronically.
