Tacoma Terrier Mix Miami, FL

Hi my name is Tacoma. I am approximately 4 years old and weigh 55 pounds. I had a rough life before I got to Paws4you and didn't have the best living conditions. My owners kept me on a chain outside all day and other dogs would attack me. I even had hot oil poured on me. Despite my past, I am the happiest boy and always have a huge smile on my face. I'm very friendly and affectionate. I love to run and play outside. I love to play with water from the hose too, it's so fun (check out my video)! I recently spent 3 months in a foster home and we learned that I am a very good boy in the house. I am crate-trained and 100% potty trained. I love going on long walks and playing fetch, but I also have an 'off switch'-sometimes I just want to be lazy and cuddle on the couch! I am obedient and listen well to commands. My foster mom says I am a very easy dog to have around, but I can be selective with my dog friends. Since I spent so much of my life on a chain, I did not have the opportunity to socialize properly with other dogs and I tend to have my guard up around them. For this reason, I will likely do best as the only pet. That said, I LOVE people. I am a big softie and love to show off my belly and give kisses! After all that I've been through, I deserve a home where I will be safe and taken care of. I have been waiting over a year for someone to notice what a superstar I am. Please give me a chance, I have so much love to give and I am a staff favorite! Adopt me!
