MEET TACO: 25 POUNDS OF PURE AWESOMENESS

Taco is 8 months old, about 35 pounds, medium-sized-ish, ridiculously lanky, and appears to have been assembled using approximately 60% legs, 30% ears and 10% actual dog.

He's affectionate, curious, playful, smart and currently accepting applications for someone willing to fund his lifetime supply of snacks and adventures.

Let's start with the important stuff:

Crate trained
Potty trained
Loves other dogs
Smart
Treat motivated
Affectionate
Excellent ears
Absolutely NO understanding of how one politely enters a lap

Taco doesn't just come inside after playing.

Taco makes an entrance.

He can spot an available lap from across the room and apparently thinks:

“LANDING ZONE CONFIRMED.”

Then...

LAUNCH.

Twenty-five pounds of legs, ears and happiness comes flying across the room directly at you.

Personal space?

Taco has chosen not to subscribe

OTHER DOGS: 10/10, WOULD RECOMMEND

Taco absolutely LOVES other dogs.

Play with dogs.
Run with dogs.
Wrestle with dogs.
Investigate things with dogs.
Probably form a small neighborhood gang with dogs.

He'd be thrilled to have a canine buddy who enjoys a good romp and doesn't mind living with a teenage gazelle disguised as a puppy.

Recycled Best Friends's Adoption Policy
Our standard adoption fees are $250.00, this could vary based on breed. We have a standard application process for both fostering and adoption to ensure the best match for our dogs and families. • All applicants must complete an application, which includes questions, a veterinary reference, and two personal references. • Once submitted, an application reviewer will carefully evaluate the information and contact both the veterinary and personal references. • After the review is complete, the Director will follow up with the applicant directly to discuss the application in more detail. • The Director will then determine approval status and help match the applicant with the dog that best fits their home and lifestyle. As part of the process, approved applicants are required to attend a meet-and-greet with all household members—including current dogs—to ensure a safe and successful match.
