Taco Belle's Story
Taco Belle was found wandering near her restaurant namesake, perhaps waiting for nachos! She can be a little shy but warms up when she feels comfortable. Stop by to meet her at the Animal Care and Adoption Center.

11/24/25
Vet students went to get her out for eval and she was growly in the back of the kennel and apparently scared with the 2 students. So one student was eventually able to get her out and we got her in the mtg rm. We didn't do much with her as he tail was tucked tight, she was stand offish, nervous but would still take treats. We just really offerred her treats and felt it was too overwhelming for her with the class and we didn't want to push her too fast, too hard. She and the student who got her out of the kennel developed a little rapport, and was accepting petting. We made it as positive as possible and returned her to kennel. She willingly returned to kennel.
Will have to try evaluating her again with staff. If you are interested in learning more about this pet, call the Montgomery County, Virginia, Animal Care and Adoption Center at 540-382-5795.
