Taco's Story

Taco is about a year and a half old. He's a Shepherd mix. Mixed with what we don't know. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and heartworm tested negative. Taco came from a bad situation and was living majority of his life in a metal cage with 11 other dogs also in cages lined up in a dirty, stinky and hot shed. He's enjoying his freedom here, but everything is all new to him. He's a little unsure when meeting men, but he's not aggressive...just timid. We are not sure how he is around small children therefore we are requiring meets with everyone who lives in the home, and we also require meet and greets for any dogs currently in the home as well. Taco is an energetic guy who is patiently waiting for a real home of his own.
***WE DO NOT KNOW IF TACO IS HOUSETRAINED. HE DOES OK OVERNIGHT IN HIS KENNEL HERE FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME, BUT ACCIDENTS ARE EXPECTED!
Please contact us directly if you have any questions or if you're interested in adopting Taco. (989) 343-7387 or rfas1367@gmail.com.

-Cats are same day adoptions. -Dogs are NOT same day adoptions. -We require home visits with the dogs. This means you take the dog home for about a week to ensure that dog is a good fit for your life. Adoptions can be finalized after the home visit is complete. We understand some people are not local, and we can work around that to accommodate the needs of all parties involved. -Meet and greets are required for any dog adoptions where there is already a dog in the home. -CAT ADOPTIONS REQUIRE CARRIERS TO LEAVE THE BUILDING! -DOG ADOPTIONS REQUIRE A LEASH TO LEAVE THE BUILDING!
