Taco's Story

Taco is a 6 mouth old German Shepherd mix who came to us from and unfortunate situation. Taco has not been able to fully come out of his shell as the shelter is a very stressful environment for him. He needs a quiet environment and someone who is willing to work on growing his confidence so that he can learn how to be a dog. Taco is very skittish at first and you can tell that he wants to trust he's just very unsure. Once he gets out of his we are sure he would make the perfect companion for someone. If you think you're the perfect person for him please give the Pickaway County Dog Shelter a call at 740-474-3741

*We do not kid or cat test, which is why all of our dogs are not checked as kid or cat friendly; that does not mean we don't have dogs we believe would be kid or cat friendly! Your best bet is to call and ask our staff! Our only indicator of “dog friendliness” is how they react when walking by the kennels, so we always recommend a meet and greet*
