Tacker's Story

Howdy guys and gals! I’m Tacker!

And let me tell you right now — I am ALL puppy. A full-speed, tail-wagging, zoomie-powered bundle of energy!

I arrived at the shelter on January 7, 2026, after someone dumped me at the landfill. Not exactly the kind of start a puppy deserves. On top of that, I had hundreds of tiny spots of hair loss. Turns out it was ringworm — ouch! It was contagious and uncomfortable, but I’ve been on medication and responded super quickly. My hair is growing back beautifully, and I’m no longer contagious. I’m officially on the mend!

I’m about 4 months old now and built like a tiny bulldozer — solid muscle and always ready to go. I’m mostly white with tan-gray markings, and get this... I have one blue eye and one green eye. Pretty unique, right? I like to think I stand out in a crowd.

Here’s my puppy résumé:
· About 4 months old
· Two sets of vaccines completed (third round next week!)
· Just need my neuter and rabies to be fully vetted
· Tons of personality and even more energy

What I’m looking for:
?? Other dogs? Yes, please!
?? Kids? Absolutely!
?? A large yard to run off all this puppy power? YES PLEASE!

I’m still learning all the good boy basics, so I’ll need a family ready to guide me, play with me, and help me grow into the amazing dog I’m meant to be. I promise I’ll bring laughter, adventure, and lots of love into your home.

I’ve had a rough start, but I’m bouncing back fast and ready for my forever family.

If you’re ready for fun, chaos (the good kind), and a whole lot of puppy love — I’m your guy.

Let’s go home! ????
