Tabitha is a very sweet but very shy 2-3 years Chihuahua 5- 8 lbs. She needs a home where someone is home than not. She wants to stay close. She came from a hoarding situation and needs an understanding owner. She came from a house where there were 18 dogs living in it. She needs to be in a home with another dog that is confident to show her that life can be fun. She is spayed, up to date on shots and heartworm tested negative. Paws 4 the Cause is an all volunteer "no kill" rescue. We do not harm animals, but the more we can adopt out, the more we can take in. We take in the hardest cases, dogs and cats that are close to death or starvation. The adoption fee barely covers a fraction of what we spend. Our average animal costs about $200 for the first month in food and vet fees, and approx. $50 per month thereafter. All donations are used to pay directly for animal food and vet expenses. There are no employee or overhead expenses.
