This bright-eyed girl wins hearts wherever she goes — she’s friendly with everyone she meets, male or female, and her affectionate nature makes her an instant favorite.<br/><br/>Sylvie loves to play with her toys and doesn’t mind sharing. She’s shown no signs of resource guarding and is easygoing when it comes to handling her food. During her stay, she’s gotten along beautifully with our helper dog and would absolutely love a canine buddy to romp and play with.<br/><br/>Like any young, active pup, Sylvie enjoys being outdoors — exploring the yard, going for walks, or just soaking up the sunshine. She’ll thrive in an active home where she can join in on family adventures and continue to learn and grow.<br/><br/>Sylvie is still a puppy, so obedience classes will help her build confidence and master her basic manners. She’s learning leash skills and would benefit from ongoing positive training and socialization. She can be a bit vocal in the kennel but settles quickly when she’s with people she trusts — a little reassurance and consistency will help her learn that being alone is okay too.<br/><br/>She’s still discovering the world and needs a puppy-proofed home (she’s been known to go “treasure hunting” in the garbage!), but with gentle guidance, she’ll blossom into a well-mannered companion. Sylvie gets along with most dogs, though she likes to stand her ground and can be protective of her space or toys, especially when it comes to sharing her bed.
