Sylvia's Story

Anna and Sylvia were surrendered by southern backyard breeders. Anna is estimated to be 10 years and Sylvia 7 years old. They are petite beagles at around 24 lbs. These sweet girls were thought to be bonded but now that they have arrived at their foster in Massachusetts they have become independent of each other. They really love their foster parents and all the attention they can get from humans, interact well with the other dogs there and even do well with the cats in the home.

Sylvia is an adorable, happy little girl! She is a little cautious of movement but not scared. She likes to know what is going on, often getting up and following her foster parents around. She prefers not to be alone so we think she will do best with another dog in the home. A playmate would be great as she is enjoying the playful dog in her foster home, often running around with him. Someone who is also home a lot would be a bonus for her. Sylvia is friendly and content to sit on your lap but also has an active side. She just discovered toys and joyfully runs back and forth with different ones.

Sylvia is being fostered south of Boston and is available for visits.
