Sydney's Story

Sydney
Breed: Chihuahua mix
Age: 4 years old

Sweet Sydney’s story begins the way so many shouldn’t. She was found as a stray and brought to a local shelter, and somehow, no one ever came looking for her. While we may never understand how she ended up there, one thing is certain: Sydney is more than ready to leave that chapter behind and start a life where she is cherished the way she deserves.

Sydney is the definition of a gentle, easy companion. She is affectionate without being overwhelming, always happy to be close, soaking up attention and returning it tenfold. Whether she is curled up beside you after a long day or trotting happily along on a walk, she simply enjoys being part of your world.

She is housetrained, has lovely manners, and settles into a home with ease. Sydney enjoys her daily walks, where she can take in all the sights and smells, and she has a playful side too, happily entertaining herself with toys when the mood strikes. She gets along well with other dogs and would do beautifully in a home with a canine companion or as your one and only.

Truly, Sydney is the kind of dog people dream about; steady, loving, and effortlessly sweet. The kind who doesn’t ask for much, just a soft place to land and someone to love her for the rest of her days.

If you are looking for a loyal little companion with a big heart, Sydney may just be your perfect match.

Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful animals, we ask that you please fill out our online application: https://form.jotform.com/223268341300041

We are a 100% volunteer organization and have to work other jobs to pay the bills. Please give us up to 48 hours to respond.

Submission of an adoption application does not obligate you to adopt nor does it guarantee approval. We look forward to hearing from you.

Please note all animals in the home must be altered, up to date on vaccines, and be on heartworm prevention. We understand there are some special cases and will take those into consideration.
