*PLEASE NOTE: We do not adopt out on a first-come/first-serve basis. Applications are accepted for a puppy and then a home check is scheduled. I have been told I have the softest fur and ears like a famous little Lady from a dog movie. I love carrots and icicles as treats. I seem to be made for the cold! In fact, my foster parents have to come get me from outside, even when it's a polar vortex outside. I LOVE the snow. I also love, love. I love getting a big hugs from my foster parents and their 5 kids. I hold on to their arms with my little paws so they won't let go! I do well in my crate, it's my cozy, safe place after all my playtime. And speaking of playtime…my foster fur sister is AMAZING and we have so much fun together! What would this adorable pup like in a furever home? Hmmmm…time to work with me on training so I learn all my important lessons…a dose of patience because I am young and have lots to learn…and lots of love because I promise to always be happy to see you! If you would like to meet me, please fill out a preadoption application and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can!
Happy tail wags and warm cuddles-Sydney

**The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $525 which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.*

Chicagoland Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
First step is to decide if you are ready for a long term commitment owning a dog. Ask yourself if you are ready for vet bills, cost of food, training the dog, and what would happen to him/her if you became ill. Once you have decided you are ready for the commitment, the next step is to come to an adoption show and meet the dog you are interested in. Sometimes people fall in love with a picture, only to find another dog at the show better suits what they are looking for. Please remember to bring all family members, including dog(s), who live at the home to meet the new dog. We do not adopt out dogs as gifts.

Our Mission
Chicagoland Dog Rescue (CDR) brought a few people together who had been doing rescue work on their own. Our common goal is to rescue dogs that suffer at the hands of cruel or ignorant owners, owner give-aways, or those that are homeless.
