Sweetums's Story
Sweetums is a cuddly young pup who really lives up to her name. She is an exceptional snuggler who follows you everywhere you want to go. She is house trained, super smart, and food motivated - making her a dream to train. She knows sit, stay, and come, and is very obedient while you teach her more. She loves long walks, toys, and play, but is also happy to take a fat nap when you need some downtime. She is not reactive to other people or dogs. When walking she occasionally pulls slightly when other dogs are near, but is easily redirected. She is attentive to strange noises in the house and on the street, but takes them in stride. She rarely barks.

Sweetums has obviously been through some hard times. She wolfs down her food and is always looking for more. We use a puzzle feeder to slow her down, and either toss treats or give them with an open palm. Sweetums adapted very quickly to home life, and is far less fearful than when she arrived, but adopters will want to be mindful of her stress level and take things slowly.

Sweetums is boundless love in an adorable, pint-sized package. She would do well in a house or apartment setting. Reach out to fostersweetmolly@gmail.com or check out @fostermollyphilly for more information.
