Sweetie Pie was found by one of our volunteers who observed her walking house to house in a neighborhood and seemingly asking, “Are you my family?” at each door. After an extensive search for her owner, it became clear that this beautiful 9 year old girl had been abandoned. We welcomed her into the LTA family with open arms!

Sweetie Pie lives up to her name in every way and is as close to perfect as it gets. She loves every person, kid, dog, and especially cat that she meets. She loves to snuggle on a soft dog bed or stretch out on the cool tile and respects that couches and beds are for her humans. She loves to lean in and be near her people and gives the sweetest kisses! Her gait may be a little stiff, and she might be a little “fluffy” around the middle (she is working very hard on that), but she is still up for playing with her foster brothers and prancing around the yard.

Sweetie Pie is ready to find the best family who will love her unconditionally and never leave her alone in her golden years.
