Sweetie's Story

Sweetie is the perfect mix of playful energy and laid-back charm. This happy, cuddly girl loves being around her people and has a true "social butterfly" personality. She's always excited to greet new friends with a wagging tail and bright eyes. Whether she's bouncing around during playtime or curling up next to you for some well-earned snuggles, Sweetie knows how to strike that perfect balance.

She's incredibly smart, eager to please, and a quick learner, especially when food is involved! (Treats are definitely the way to her heart.) While she enjoys playtime, Sweetie is more people-focused than toy-driven and would much rather spend time by your side than entertain herself. She would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of human companionship.

Sweetie gets along wonderfully with her dog foster siblings and has been great with children in her foster home. She has a naturally confident, "leader" type personality, but keeps things friendly and easygoing with everyone she meets.

She's an A+ student when it comes to house training and is currently working on crate training, making great progress every day! With her curious nature and willingness to learn, she'll continue to blossom with consistency and guidance.

Quick stats!
--Dogs: gets along well with dogs in the home
--Cats: has not been introduced to cats
--Children: gets along with the children in the home
--Likes: being close to her humans (snuggles are a must!), treats, treats, and more treats, and relaxing after playtime and soaking up attention

If Sweetie sounds like the right fit for your home, fill out an adoption application today! muttsofthemidway.org/adopt

Mutts of the Midway's Adoption Policy
Thank you for choosing to adopt and your interest in Mutts of the Midway. Once there is an interest in a dog, our adoption application is completed with that dog noted. The application is vetted and two personal references and one veterinarian reference are checked. If approved, a meet and greet is set-up with all family members (including children and other dogs) and the adoptable dog. If the adopter and foster family agree it is a good fit, the adoption contract is completed and the adoption fee ($350 for a dog 6 months and younger, $300 for a dog older than 6 months) is paid. Finally the pick-up of the new family member is arranged! All applications are processed in the order they are received and we strive to find the best home for each of our dogs. All adopted animals will go into their forever home current on vaccines, microchipped, spay/neutered, heartworm preventative and given a health exam.
