Sweetie's Story

ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application. We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt.

// //
Meet Sweetie! Sweetie is an approximately 6 year old, 28 lb Terrier mix. This sweet angel has clearly had a tough life prior to being rescued as she at times struggles being around dogs in public areas. She has made great progress in this area. At home, she is peaceful, loves to snuggle, rarely barks, doesn’t shed, and fully house trained. She is a good eater and enjoys mealtime. She enjoys her peace & solitude and appreciates lounging and long naps. Sweetie would be best served in a home with a strong alpha owner as she responds well to firm boundaries. She loves spending time with her human(s) but also appreciates time alone lounging and napping. Her current foster dad works from home and describes her as the lowest maintenance dog he has ever had. She sleeps up to 12 hours a day, and loves walking between 2 and 6 miles per day. Can you give Sweetie the life she deserves? She is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300.

All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.

Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog.
