Sweetie's Story
Meet Sweetie – the name says it all.

This little survivor has been through more than her fair share, but she hasn’t let it dim her gentle spirit.

When we first met Sweetie, she weighed only 17 lbs., anemic and fighting off a belly full of parasites. Fast forward to today—her body has healed, her bloodwork is finally clear, and she’s up to date on her vaccines. She’s also gained the weight she desperately needed, now sitting pretty at a healthy 32 lbs.

Sweetie is estimated to be about a year old. She was discovered hiding under her foster parents’ truck, wearing a collar so tight it left a sore on her neck. Thankfully, they found her just in time before it became embedded.

Thanks to her foster family, Sweetie has learned what safety and love feel like. She gets along beautifully with the family’s large German shepherds, adores giving their human baby kisses, and is blossoming into a total lovebug once she warms up. She may be shy at first, but her heart is as open as her name suggests. Sweetie is scheduled to be spayed on 9/26 and will be ready to start her forever.

? Adoption Fee: $100
?
