Sweetie's Story

Meet Sweetie, a 5-year-old German Shepherd. She was found wandering the streets after being mistreated by some neighborhood kids who threw rocks and poked her with sticks. Despite everything she’s been through, Sweetie’s heart is still full of love and hope. The moment we brought her home, she showed us just how gentle and resilient she is. She deserves a second chance at a safe, loving forever home.

Sweetie is good with calm, respectful adults. She likes going on walks, laying in the sun, and getting belly rubs. She would love a home with an experienced owner who understands the needs of a dog with a tough past and can give her the love, patience, and care she deserves.

She would not do well with young kids or other female dogs — she prefers a quieter, steady environment where she can feel safe. A fenced-in yard is a must for her, as she loves being outdoors but needs a secure space.

Sweetie is potty trained, crate trained, and up to date on her rabies vaccine. She’s a smart, loyal girl who just wants to feel safe and loved. If you have room in your heart and home for a dog who’s ready for a fresh start, Sweetie is waiting to meet you.
