Sweetie's Story

Sweetie is every bit as sweet as her name suggests. She came to us from a terrible puppy mill case, and it's clear that she has been mistreated and overbred throughout her life. Despite everything she has been through, Sweetie has remained an incredibly loving, gentle girl who just wants to be close to the people and dogs she trusts.

She can be a little shy when meeting someone new, but she quickly warms up once she realizes she's safe. Before long, you'll see her affectionate personality come shining through. Sweetie loves giving kisses to both her human friends and her canine friends.

Sweetie is very dog friendly and does wonderfully with both large and small dogs. She would do best in a home without cats, livestock, or small critters.

After spending so much of her life without the love and comfort every dog deserves, Sweetie is ready to experience the good life. She loves playing outside and enjoying some fun, but once playtime is over, her favorite place is curled up beside you on the couch, watching a show and soaking up all the cuddles she missed out on.

Sweetie has been through more than any dog should, but she hasn't let it take away her sweetness. She's ready for a family who will show her just how wonderful life can be.
