Sweet Sara's Story

Sara is a ~4yo mixed breed rescued from a hoarding situation in rural Mississippi. She weighs only 42# and she is great with other dogs. She has a little prey drive, yet has learned to live respectfully with cats. She is a very sweet, gentle, and timid girl. She is very submissive with other dogs and people. She is crate trained and her crate is definitely a quiet safe space for her. The director of the rescue in MS fostered Sara and said "she’s crate trained, super loyal, very loving, and gentle. She’s never jumped on me or growled in any way. She does well on a leash. She is honestly the best dog I have. She gets along with every other dog I’ve had her around. Truly, if I could keep her I would, but she deserves a better life than what I can offer her here." To apply to adopt her, go to cvcaninerescue.org. Her adoption fee is $450.
