Sweet Pea's Story

Meet Sweet Pea!

She originally came to us in 2022 at about 2 years old, she was adopted shortly after and was recently returned due to big changes in her family's life.

She is a spunky and smart little lady that's ready to take on the world with a new human companion.
She has been great with the dogs she's met so far, she starts off with seeming overwhelmed and warns the dog with showing her teeth but it never goes past that. She could definitely live with other dogs as long as they aren't pushy.
She may need to be retested with cats as she hasn't seen any in a while but this is her original description regarding feline friends:
She has met some cats in her foster home very briefly. So far it seems she is interested and would want to try to play or chase but no initial naughtiness. With the right human to correct her for getting too excited she could definitely live with cats.

She's looking for someone who is active and has availability to take her on walks and to some training classes if possible! She would be an awesome hiking buddy, a good dog to try agility with or biking/running.

She is house trained and crate trained and up to date on vetting.

If you are at all interested in filling out an application for Sweet Pea please email cnevolunteerteam@gmail.com
